Week in Review

As expected Rome is a beautiful city! The architecture is breathtaking. I  go into buildings that I've studied and think "wow. This is so much more amazing than I remembered".  It's still kind of surreal to me that I actually get to experience and explore many of the buildings that I studied in class.

Navigating the city is the hardest part. I already have a poor sense of direction but to have no grid system makes it so much worse. Hopefully, I'll be able to successfully navigate my way around before I leave. Until then I'll just have to wonder around trying to find my way. In a way this is a good thing, I've been able to explore streets/ parts of the city, as well as churches, that I wouldn't have necessarily seen. So I guess being directionally challanged is a good thing.

As some people know, I can be quite clumsy. This hasn't changed since coming to Rome. The good news is it only happend twice. The bad news is it involved me spilling speghetti on a girl and tripping and nearly falling(thankfully Steph was there to save me)
